Thursday: Thanksgiving dinner here for my Mom, Beth and Tony. Erick and the Girls came over and brought dessert. Little did anyone know a 4-way grudge-match was going to break out (please forgive my bad photography!):
Friday: Black Friday madness. Melanie and Shannon hit up the stores at 5am to get a lot of Christmas shopping done. Pretty hard to believe they put in 8 hours of shopping. Almost like a full-time job! In the afternoon, Luke and I went to storage (saw three trains!) and retrieved all of our Christmas Decorations. Then, after a brief, but fun outing at the newly renovated Sierra Del Oro park Luke and I hung up a string of Christmas lights outside. Then later that night, Erick treated me to some great Mexican food, then we hit up the new movie based on the Steven King book, The Mist.Saturday: Melanie and I took Luke to go see the Bee Movie. Our little guy made it through the whole movie! There were a couple moments when we thought we might have to bail out early, but for the most part, Luke loved it. We liked it too... we can see the ride at California Adventure already. We then headed out to San Juan Capistrano to see Paula and Wayne's new Christmas display. 15,000 lights, a ferris wheel, and a roll-up garage door that was hiding a full-on Disney-themed TRAIN exhibit. Luke was glued to that thing all night.
Sunday: Melanie got a call from Mari who was looking to get rid of a couple of chairs. Since my dark green leather couch (circa 1996) has certainly seen better days, our living room was treated to a relatively-new-to-us set of big chairs!:
Thanks Mari! Christmas definitely came early for us this year. We love them. The new chairs rock. Certainly adds a little elegance to our barren living room that more resembled my Fullerton apartment than our home in 2007. While I was out scrapping up supplies to ship out my Wii (sold it on ebay... can't believe what people are paying for these things right now!)... Melanie and Beth set up the tree. Definitely starting to get more into the holiday spirit. Thanks for all your help this weekend Beth! It was a good weekend indeed.Thought I'd end the blog with a couple of my favorite pics of "The Juggernaut" from during the week:

Aww, Juggy sleeping standing up!
I love the way those chairs look in the front room! Cozy but still roomy!
